Detailed Description of Position: The University of Montevallo Speech and Language Center is looking for a Speech/Language Pathologist to supervise graduate level students during their on-campus clinical experiences during the fall semester. Work hours would be a minimum of 8 hours per week to a maximum of 30 hours per week for a 12-week period (September through November). SLP must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology from ASHA and have current state licensure. Responsibilities/Competencies include:
- Comprehensive audiometric evaluations of all ages from birth to geriatrics (including DPOAEs, play audiometry, tympanometry)
- Vestibular assessment and management (ECog, Dix Hallpike, Epley, VNG. Posturography experience is a plus.)
- Appropriate hearing aid evaluations, counseling, fitting, troubleshooting, verification, and follow-up for hearing aids and other aural rehabilitation devices and accessories for adults.
- Problem solving and working efficiently and independently in an organized and professional manner
- Miscellaneous duties (paperwork, phone calls, schedules patients, Electronic Medical Record keeping, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate in Audiology - AL state licensure (or eligible)
- ASHA certification
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
