Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist, or CFY

Infirmary Therapy Services has an opening for a full time speech language pathologist at Thomas Hospital. The ideal candidate will have pediatric and adult experience for outpatient and acute care settings with the majority of their treatment time spent providing therapy to the pediatric population. This position will work with a pediatric population utilizing Interactive Metronome, Integrated Listening System (iLs) and a state of the art sensory integration therapy gym and playground. This position will also have the opportunity to work with an adult population utilizing modified barium swallowing studies (MBS) and VitalStim. Experience with MBS and VitalStim a plus but not required. This individual will work one to one with their patients and their family members to enable the patients to meet their highest potential. Candidates will work closely with other disciplines to establish and implement a plan of care specific to their patients and their individual needs. Supervision of clinical aides is required. Alabama licensure and American Heart CPR certification required.
