Here's how it works:

1. Select. Choose titles of interest to you. You may borrow up to one tape at a time, for a two-week period, except as noted below. Suggestion: In case your first choice is checked out, list alternative titles to ensure rapid service.

Use of tapes from SHAA's Continuing Education Lending Library is designed for meeting continuing education requirements for ABESPA renewal. School-based clinician may use school-related CELL tapes for staff development credit. The Certification Office of the Alabama State Department of Education has agreed to accept the documentation form for credit. Simply complete the CELL documentation form, and submit to your administrator. CELL tapes may also be used to meet the new requirements for continuing education to maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. For logistical reasons, however, CELL hours cannot be applied to the ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE).
